Dogs are possibly the best pet you could have. They are totally reliant and appreciative of you and never need much more than love and a place to live. How many people do you know that fit this description? Probably none. Dogs are one of the oldest known pets and people all over the world have them. There are little dogs and big ones. Quiet dogs and noisy dogs. But, they are share one characteristic...they love their owners with no reserve.

This is painted much as an animation cell would have been prepared for a film, with a painting in the background, characters painted on acetate sheets in the front. We put the layers between sheets of glass to further the artwork's feeling of dimensionality.

OK, help me out here, Flickr friends. I see two dogs rowing boats. Which Olympic event is this exactly? Canoe / kayak? Straight racing / slalom?
The cleverness of this is in the red paddle oars and the yellow boat forming the letter "e" in the word Google. If you notice any other details, please do share. TNX!
For those who are visiting for the first time and are wondering what these Google designs are all about, see my photoset: Google Homepage Designs for Olympics.
