Dogs are possibly the best pet you could have. They are totally reliant and appreciative of you and never need much more than love and a place to live. How many people do you know that fit this description? Probably none. Dogs are one of the oldest known pets and people all over the world have them. There are little dogs and big ones. Quiet dogs and noisy dogs. But, they are share one characteristic...they love their owners with no reserve.

Trampled by a horse - left with skull fractures, internal injuries, her whole side damaged and torn open...yet she has survived!! Such a sweet little soul and inspiration to those of us who only walk on two feet!!

Being a "LVT"- Licensed Veterinary Technician-- and seeing the pain and suffering you do- every day...can wear on one's soul. But every so often, the heart of an inoccent creature whose life is in your hands- can make it all worth it!! So when I think I can't do this anymore and I lose sight of why I went into this field...I try to remember moments like these....

This wiggly one was dropped by her owner by mistake (we see this so often) and fragile as these little ones are she took it hard! We brought her back from death's door...
